Jacks or Better is a pair of Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces. A pair of 10s or lower pays nothing. An Ace counts high or low in a straight.
Is the draw a plain shuffle?
  • No. On about 70% of hands, the replacement cards are drawn from a deck ordered against you.
  • It applies when you hold 3 or more cards of one suit, or a pair of Jacks or better.
  • In that case, cards that would complete your flush or match your held ranks are moved towards the back of the deck.
  • This lowers your chance of improving those hands, so the paytable overstates what you can expect to win.
What happens if the casino cannot pay?
  • If the vault holds less than your win, you are paid what is in the vault.
  • You then take over the casino.
Tips
  • A pair of 10s or lower is not a winning hand.
  • Jacks or Better returns your stake. It is not a profit.
  • Finish your hand within 5 minutes of the deal.
