How training works
12345
123451Check your Energy. Each rep costs the energy shown under the bar.
2Choose how many reps one tap does: x1, x5 or Max.
3Tap TRAIN on the stat you want. The gain appears on its row.
4Read the line under each stat. It shows what that stat gives you outside the ring.
5Reset Stats and Claim Legacy are at the bottom. See below.
The Gym is closed while you are in the hospital. In jail, use the yard instead.
What does each stat do?
Gear and drug bonuses count for jail time and drug capacity. Health regen, heist chance, max energy and resource caps use your trained level only. The ring uses both.
| Stat | Outside the ring | Cap | In the ring |
|---|---|---|---|
| Health | +0.01 health regen a tick per level | None | Fight HP |
| Stamina | Nothing | – | Fight stamina |
| Strength | +1 drug capacity per level | None | Hit power |
| Speed | −0.25% jail time per level. +0.1% heist chance per level | −25% jail time. +5% heist chance | Dodge chance |
| Endurance | +1 max energy per level | +100 (level 100) | Fight stamina back each round |
| Defence | +0.5 resource cap per level | +50 (level 100) | Damage blocked |
How much does a rep give?
- A rep adds 0.02–0.08 of a level.
- Below level 15 the gain is multiplied by up to 3. At level 0 it is 3 times, falling to 1 times at level 15.
- Above that the gain is divided by 1 + level ÷ 100. A stat at level 100 gains half as much as one at level 15.
- One tap trains up to 50 reps at once if you have the energy.
- The jail yard gives 15% more per rep than the gym.
How do I reset my stats?
Tap Reset Stats. Your six stats go to 0 and your points go to an unallocated pool. You must spend the pool before you can train.
- A free reset returns 90% of your points. The other 10% is lost.
- A premium reset returns 100% of your points. It costs 25 points, and the cost doubles for each premium reset in the last 7 days.
- Use Allocate to spend the pool across your stats in any amounts.
What happens to my stats if I die?
- Stats belong to the character, so the dead character loses them.
- A new character receives 90% of the points of your earlier characters when it is created.
- Use Claim Legacy to claim any that are left. The points go into your pool, minus the 10%.
When is Fight Night?
Open the Fight Night tab. Cards run on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The bell is at 20:00 UTC, and the page shows it in your time.
- Entries open 2 days before the card and close 2 hours before the bell.
- Tap Enter to pay the fee. You can Withdraw until entries close and get the fee back.
- When entries close, the card is posted. You see your opponent and have 2 hours to plan.
- You cannot choose your opponent. You are matched to the closest rating in your bracket, never someone you fought in the last 14 days.
- If you lost to someone, you can be matched against them again before the 14 days end.
Brackets and entry fees
Your bracket comes from your six stats, so training can move you up.
| Bracket | Entry fee |
|---|---|
| Novice | $5,000 |
| Prospect |
0,000 |
| Contender | $25,000 |
| Veteran | $75,000 |
| Elite | $200,000 |
| Legend | $500,000 |
What does a win pay?
Both fees go into the pot. The house takes 8%. The winner takes the rest.
- Example: two Novices pay $5,000 each. The pot is
0,000, the rake is $800, and the winner gets $9,200 or a little more.
- A small top-up from the card's own rake can raise the purse.
- A draw splits the pot after the rake.
- If nobody in your bracket can be matched, you fight one of the promoter's own fighters. A win pays 1.5 times your fee, up to 2 paid wins a day. It does not count for your record, ranking or the belt.
- A win gives rank XP and raises your standing. A loss gives less rank XP.
How do I plan a fight?A fight is 5 rounds. You choose all 5 moves before the bell. Your opponent does the same.
- Open Fight Night, then the Corner, and fill each round with a move. Tap Commit the plan.
- You can change the plan until the bell.
- With no plan, you fight Quick, Guard, Counter, Quick, Guard.
- The Corner shows both fighters' recent fights, so you can read their habits.
- The plan shows when you will run out of fight stamina.
The four movesHeavy beats Guard, Guard beats Quick, Quick beats Counter, Counter beats Heavy.Move Damage Stamina Beats Heavy ×1.70 24 Guard Quick ×0.95 9 Counter Guard ×0.30 3, gives 14 back Quick Counter ×1.20 15 Heavy How is a fight decided?- When your move beats theirs, you deal 90% more damage. When theirs beats yours, you deal 55% less.
- Fight HP comes from Health and hit power from Strength. Defence blocks a share of damage, up to 85%.
- Speed gives a chance to dodge a hit completely, up to 45%.
- Each move costs fight stamina from your pool. Endurance gives some back each round.
- If you cannot pay for a move you still throw it, but it deals 70% less and you take 45% more damage.
- A fight ends early if one fighter reaches 0 HP. Otherwise the fighter with more HP left wins. Within 2% it is a draw.
What are the rankings and the belt?- Rankings orders fighters by standing, which starts at 1000 and moves with results. It reads unranked until you have 5 fights.
- Beating a higher-standing fighter is worth more.
- There is one belt. It pays no cash and gives the champion a special avatar.
- A champion who misses 2 cards in a row loses the belt.
Tips- Training is the same energy cost at x1 or Max. Max saves taps.
- Fight stamina is the limit. You cannot throw 5 Heavies.
- Withdraw before entries close if you cannot afford to lose the fee.
- You cannot enter a card from the hospital or a cell.
