How much can I carry?
Space is the number of items in your bag. Every item in a stack counts. Currencies do not.
- You start with 500 item space.
- Each +10 Inventory Space from the Points Store adds 10.
- An equipped bag adds its size: 5 to 40 for a Duffel Bag or Attache Case, 200 for a Syndicate Holdall.
- Some equipped gear adds item space as an effect.
What happens when my bag is full?
- Item drops from crimes, GTA, heists and similar actions are skipped. You still get the cash and XP.
- You cannot withdraw items from your crew inventory or safehouse.
- Workshop crafts still add items, even over your limit.
- Use or destroy items to make room.
What kinds of item are there?
- Consumables. Use them for nerve, focus, wit, cash, jail escape and other effects. Many have a cooldown.
- Workshop modifiers. They cannot be used here. Pick them when you craft in the Workshop.
- Components. Crafting materials. They cannot be used directly.
- Collectables. Using one adds it to your collection once.
- Lootboxes and crates. Using one opens it and shows what is inside.
- Witness statements. They name a killer once opened. Opening cannot be undone.
Can I destroy an item?
- Yes. Tap Destroy and choose how many. You get nothing back.
- Destroying cannot be undone.
What do I keep on death?
Most of your bag is lost. These stay with you:
- Account-bound items. These move to your next character. They include Marked Bills, Vote Chip, Reputation, Corner Ticket, Back Room Card and Printer's Proof.
- Equipment marked Persists death. It returns unequipped.
- Stored experience. 15% of your experience goes into storage when you die. Tap Withdraw to add it to your next character.
- Item space bought from the Points Store is tied to the character, so it is lost.
Tips
- Keep some space free before crime and heist sessions, or drops are skipped.
- Quick use has no confirmation. Use Inspect when you are unsure.
- Items you cannot afford to lose are better used before a risky action than carried into it.
