Chance and multiplier by card showing
Each cell is the chance to win, then the multiplier on your pot. A locked side cannot lose, so it cannot pay and cannot be called.

How does a ladder work?
- Tap Deal. Your stake goes into the vault and a card is shown. It is never a 2 or an ace.
- Tap Higher or same or Lower or same. A new card is drawn.
- If you were right, the new card becomes the card showing and your pot grows by the multiplier.
- Tap Cash out to take the pot, or call again.
- A wrong call ends the ladder and the pot is lost.
How are the odds set?
The multiplier is worked out from the card showing, so the edge is the same on every card and both sides.
- k is the number of ranks out of 13 that win the call, a tie included.
- Chance = k / 13. Multiplier = 97.5% / chance, never below 1.000x.
- A tie wins for the side you picked.
- Every card is drawn from a full 52-card deck, so earlier cards do not change the odds.
How does the 2.5% edge compound?
Each correct call keeps 97.5% of the fair value. Riding the pot multiplies the edge.
- 1 call: 2.50%. 3 calls: 7.31%. 5 calls: 11.89%. 10 calls: 22.37%.
- These are before the 150x ceiling, which lowers your return a little more.
- The multiplier is rounded to 4 decimal places and the pot to whole dollars on each call.
When does the ladder end by itself?
- At 10 correct calls, the pot is paid out.
- When the pot reaches 150x your stake, it is capped at 150x and paid out.
- If the vault holds less than the pot, the table busts. You are paid the vault, which already holds your stake.
Tips
- You cannot cash out before your first call. The stake is already down.
- When a 2 or an ace shows, one side is locked. The other side pays 12.675x on a 7.7% chance.
- Finish your ladder within 30 minutes or the pot is lost.
