4Tap Collect all to bank every operation, till and rival racket at once.
5Spend the cash on business upgrades. Process the materials your operations find at the matching business.

How much crew do I have?

Each running operation uses crew. Standing it down gives the crew back.

  • Crew grows with Empire level. It is 4 at level 1, 6 at level 8 and 10 at level 14. It reaches 14 at level 20 and 16 at level 30.
  • All four operations need 18 crew, so you choose which to run.
  • A casino with its Reputation upgrades maxed adds 2 crew.
  • If your crew shrinks below what is running, the operations keep running. You need free crew to restart them.
How does collecting work?
  • An operation charges for 8 hours, then stops until you collect. Premium players charge for 12 hours.
  • You can collect after about 1 minute of charge. You must collect before you can stand an operation down.
  • Cash, XP, cars and items go to the character you are playing. Rank XP is shown as a percentage of your rank.
  • Cash and XP grow 2% for each Empire level. Cars and drops do not.
  • Scavenging banks nothing until you pick a target pool.
How do I gain Empire levels?
  • A successful crime, GTA or heist can earn 1 respect. Crime has a 4% chance, GTA 7% and heists 15%.
  • Each level costs more than the last. Total respect needed: level 2 needs 14, level 5 needs 63, level 10 needs 189, level 20 needs 759 and level 30 needs 2,377.
  • Each operation unlocks at the first level where your crew can run it: Crime at 1, Scavenging at 2, Heist at 5 and GTA at 8.
  • At level 5 your Underboss can join your Organised Crimes. Its bonus grows with your Empire level.
  • Each new level sends you an inbox notice saying what it unlocked and what the next unlock is.
  • The top level is 60.
What do the businesses pay?

Chop ShopLevel 8
0,800,000
50,000–$975,000
Income rises as you upgrade the business. The low figure is a new business and the high figure is fully upgraded.
How do business upgrades work?
  • Each business has 4 upgrade branches with 4 levels each: staff, facilities, security and reputation.
  • A business's phase is its lowest branch level. Income depends on the phase.
  • The first Strip Club upgrade costs $92,000 and the fourth costs
,300,000. The other businesses cost more.
  • A business's till holds 12 hours of income. When it is full, it stops earning.
What is Heat?
  • Stances, policies and boosts raise income and some of them add Heat. Heat is added up across all your businesses.
  • Your Heat ceiling starts at 10 and goes up by 0.5 for every Security level you buy.
  • Rivals scouting on The Takeover see businesses with the highest Heat compared to their ceiling first.
What do materials do?

Operations sometimes find materials. Process them at the matching business.

  • Chop Shop. 5 Car parts make 1 Scrap Metal.
  • Laundrette. Each Dirty money is washed into
    5,000.
  • Underground Casino. 5 Hot goods give 1 roll on the Lottery General pool.
Can other players take from my Empire?
  • Rivals within 5 Empire levels of you can raid a business from Empire level 5. They steal part of the till, never the business, its level or its upgrades.
  • A business with an un-upgraded branch cannot be targeted.
  • Lockdown shuts the business: it earns nothing and cannot be raided. Insurance recovers 25% of what a raid takes.
  • Collect your tills often. Only uncollected takings can be stolen.
Tips
  • Collect all before you run out of room in a till: full tills and operations stop earning.
  • Pick a Scavenging target before you run it, or it earns nothing.
  • Your Underboss and Empire are tied to your account and survive death.
