How do I play a hand?
- Tap Deal. You get two cards and the dealer shows one.
- Tap Hit for another card or Stand to keep your total.
- Go over 21 and you bust. You lose the hand at once.
- Face cards count 10. An ace counts 11 or 1, whichever helps you.
- When you stand, the dealer plays and the hands are compared.
What does the dealer do?
Each round uses a full 52-card deck.
- The dealer draws until his total is 17 or more.
- He also draws on a soft 17, which is 17 counting an ace as 11.
- When his total is 12 to 16 and he must draw, 20% of the time the game picks a card that cannot bust him. The rest of the time the card is random.
- The dealer does not check for blackjack before you play. His second card is dealt after you finish.
- If you are dealt a blackjack, the dealer's two cards are dealt at once. If he also has blackjack, it is a push.
When can I double down or split?
- Double down: only on your first two cards. It doubles your bet, gives you one more card, then you stand.
- Split: only on two cards of exactly the same rank. A king and a queen cannot split.
- A split makes two hands with a bet each. Each draws a second card.
- A split hand cannot be doubled or split again.
- You need enough cash to cover the extra bet.
Why is no house edge shown?
The 20% dealer card rule, the soft 17 rule and the 3 to 2 blackjack all change the edge. It depends on how you play, so no single figure is given.
Tips
- Finish every hand. A game left for 5 minutes expires and the bet is not returned.
- Doubling and splitting are not limited by the table max bet.
- A tie with the dealer is a push, so your bet comes back.
